How Wisdom Well came to be

Wisdom Well started the way the best things usually do — not with a business plan, but with an experience that left them changed.

It was a retreat in Bali. Two therapists who didn’t know each other yet — and a connection they couldn’t ignore (both Enneagram 7s, naturally). While there, Staci shared an idea she’d been quietly sitting with for a while: creating retreats of her own.

Steffanee was in. What started as a conversation kept coming back to the same things: connection, laughter, rest, joy, and fun. They consider fun to be a very important component. The kind that reminds you who you are outside of your caseload.

One of them booked the domain before the other one could overthink it (thanks, Steffanee) and Wisdom Well Retreats was born.

Meet Staci

Staci Morey

Hi, I’m Staci! I’m a licensed clinical social worker with a private practice in Florida, where I specialize in working with the perinatal population, trauma, and young adults. I also spent seven years in addiction treatment, so I’ve sat with people through some of the hardest seasons of their lives.

One of my favorite things is to travel — but with two small kids, it started to feel like something that belonged to a different version of me. Then I went to Bali. I gave myself permission to take up space, rest, and just be somewhere beautiful. I didn’t realize how much I needed it until I was actually there.

I’ve been dreaming about creating retreats for years. I just didn’t know where to start. Bali changed that. It lit something up in me — this pull to connect with people, see new places, and create experiences that leave someone walking away lighter, grateful, and smiling in a way they maybe forgot was possible.

I can’t wait to build that with you.

Steffanee is a licensed clinical social worker who brings equal parts clinical depth and genuine warmth to everything she does. She is the kind of person who shows up fully — for her clients, for her friends, and for the ideas she believes in.

She is also the one who booked the domain. If you are waiting for a sign to do the thing you have been putting off, Steffanee is it.

Together, we bring clinical expertise, genuine care, and a commitment to making sure every retreat feels less like a program and more like the best trip you’ve ever taken with people who just get it.
